  2. So much food for thought here! In regards to the slaughter of the Midianites I find this verse so helpful:
    The Lord within her is righteous; he does no injustice; every morning he shows forth his justice; each dawn he does not fail; but the unjust knows no shame (Zephaniah 3:5, ESV).
    I do believe you’re so right- that we have to trust that our perfectly righteous God never fails to be perfectly just.
